Abnish Singh Chauhan: Crafting Beauty in Hindi and English Poetry
"Abnish Singh Chauhan (1979), a bilingual poet in Hindi and English, has composed some beautiful poems, which have been published in Poetcrit, Shine, The Enchanting Verses International Poetry Journal, Poem Hunter, and so on. His selected poems have appeared in A String of Words, compiled by Marie Shine and Exiled Among Natives: An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry, edited by Charu Sheel Singh and Binod Mishra. He is an emerging poet, full of promise. He sings songs of humanity and envisions a better, happier future for mankind. His lyrics are conspicuous for soft, dulcet music. ‘A Paper’, one of Chauhan’s finest lyrics, expresses the “pain”, which “the self-loving men/ living in their closed dens” disdainfully ignores. The poet expresses silent sufferings of the hungry and the naked by adroitly employing apt and suggestive symbols." — Prof. Satish Kumar, Moradabad, U.P.
