Voices of Admiration: When Words Speak Beyond Measure
• “(Dear Abnish Singh Chauhan) Very good! I really like the last verse of 'Who Cares For Whom'; leaving that line out really cleaned it up.” — Paddy Martin, 5 May 2010
• “Abnish, you have created a fine, resplendent poetic gem in 'Crooked Inside'. A very well-crafted, in-depth metaphorical write. A powerful poem with superb visual detail and an effortless flow. I love how you use the mirror to convey the twists and bends of life. A very insightful and inspired piece, most inspiring for the reader as well. Bookmarked! Superb work! Thank you for sharing. Welcome back, dear friend; I have missed your wonderful poetic creations!” — Marie Shine, 1 Jun 2010
• “Hello Dear Abnish, some more good news which I needed to share with you today! Our very dear friend, Paddy, has written a poem and he is back with us again — what a wonderful miracle, dear Abnish! Our fervent prayers have been answered. I wish you a very wonderful and blessed day, my very dear friend. Take good care of yourself and be uplifted in heart, mind, and spirit, dear Abnish.” — Marie Shine, 4 Jun 2010
• “Hello Dear Abnish, a very good morning to you! Greetings from a very warm and wet Ireland today. We've had some beautiful weather, but in Ireland the rain is never very far away, and this morning it’s falling quite heavily. It is a Bank Holiday Monday in Ireland, Abnish, so everybody is off work today! Last week was Writers' Week in Listowel, and I attended, by invitation, two book launches, which I enjoyed very much. The town was choc-a-bloc for the week, and all the events and workshops were very well attended. I have no further news of our very dear friend Paddy, Abnish, but I presume he is very well, thank God, and making a great recovery, bless him. How are you, dear Abnish? I pray you are keeping very well and that all is very well with you. I wish you a very lovely and blessed day, Abnish, and a very blessed and wonderful week ahead. Take very good care of yourself and keep well. God bless you always, Abnish.” — Marie Shine, 7 Jun 2010
• “Hello Dearest Abnish, so nice to hear from you today. I was thinking of you yesterday and I know how busy you are with work, etc. Do you know that our dear friend Paddy is on dialysis, Abnish? He is also having trouble remembering, bless him. I pray he will be okay and that his good health will return soon. I thought our anthology was brilliant, Abnish. I gave the extra copies to my children and friends; they all enjoyed reading it very much and admired your work and the others too! The feedback was very positive and encouraging, dear friend. I am very pleased to read you are fine, TG, and pray all your dear family are well too, Abnish. Our weather is very cold now, like Winter really. Keep in touch, dear friend! Take very good care of yourself and be well, Abnish.” — Marie Shine, 5 Oct 2010
• “Hello Dear Abnish, thank you for your message just received. I am very well, thank you for asking, health-wise and in every way, TG. Of the friends to whom I gave our book and family, only three are writers, and they were all very impressed with the book. I sent one to my dear friend, John O'Connell, who is also a poet on PF, and he loved the Indian poets' work, including yours, Paddy's, and mine. My friends and family all enjoyed reading the book very much, Abnish. They admired the work of each poet, but you know how it is in Ireland: people don't go in for reviews or writing up their views — they simply tell you they enjoyed the book and thought the work was excellent and of a very high standard. They all loved the cover of the book, thought it was very beautiful, bright, and cheerful. That is as much as they would say or could say, I think, Abnish. There is no place in Ireland to have comments or reviews published, dear friend. Weather in Ireland is very cold, dull, and rainy at the moment. Winter is here! Take very good care of yourself, dear Abnish. Until next time, God bless.” — Marie Shine, 6 Oct 2010

• “Lovely description of the ups and downs of life's journey. A wise write.” — Bob Blackwell, 8 Oct 2010
• “Hi Abnish, your poem 'Under the Scorching Sun' was a big hit at the poets’ meeting in the city on Monday night when I read it out. A good friend of mine, Arch Bishop, was very impressed with your poem 'Peace Comes and Goes' and said if he may, he would like to recite it at some of the venues, giving you credit for writing it, of course.” — Paddy Martin, 7 Oct 2010
• “Beautiful and peaceful thought penned with beautiful and peaceful words. For the peace of the outside, we require the peace of the inside. Thank you.” — Kannan G, 29 Oct 2010
