Negative Bias — Abnish Singh Chauhan

Mountains collapse,
forests fall,
and rivers shrink to dust,
step by step
on each passing day.

Birds and animals
struggle for a place
to call their own.
Their voices
are swallowed
by the rising tide of
negative bias.

Silence spreads,
everywhere—
in the hamlet,
in the village,
in the town,
in the city.
Could you please
hear that silence?
